Counseling Services
Counseling provides a structured space to slow down, reflect honestly, and work through the issues that are affecting your emotional health, relationships, decisions, and daily functioning.
About This Service
I offer virtual counseling services to clients located in Ohio, Michigan, Wyoming, and Texas.
My approach is collaborative, clinically grounded, and practical. Therapy should help you understand yourself more clearly, but it should also help you make meaningful changes in the way you respond to stress, relationships, conflict, loss, and emotional pain.
Areas of Focus
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling can help you better understand the patterns, emotions, experiences, and decisions that are shaping your life. Some clients come to therapy during a crisis. Others come because they are tired of carrying stress, pain, or uncertainty on their own.
In individual counseling, we may work on understanding emotional triggers, reducing anxiety, addressing depressive patterns, strengthening boundaries, processing trauma, improving relationships, or making thoughtful decisions during a difficult season of life.
The work is individualized. Some sessions may focus on practical coping skills. Others may involve deeper reflection, emotional processing, or identifying long-standing patterns that continue to affect your present life.

All sessions are conducted virtually.
Couples Counseling
Couples often seek counseling when they feel stuck in repeated arguments, emotional distance, resentment, loss of intimacy, parenting stress, or difficulty recovering from broken trust.
Couples counseling is not about assigning blame. It is about understanding the pattern between partners and helping both people communicate more clearly, listen more effectively, and take responsibility for their part in the relationship.
In couples work, we may focus on
Addiction & Recovery
Addiction affects more than substance use. It impacts identity, relationships, physical health, emotional stability, finances, spirituality, and family systems. Recovery often requires both honesty and support.
I work with clients who are addressing substance use concerns, maintaining recovery, repairing relationships, or supporting someone they love who is struggling with addiction.
The Process
Therapy begins with an initial conversation about what brings you to counseling, what you hope will change, and what has or has not helped in the past. From there, we identify goals and begin working toward them in a structured but flexible way.
My style is calm, direct, respectful, and collaborative. I will listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, offer clinical perspective, and help you connect insight to real-life change.
